The national Water Sanitation and Hygiene Learning forum 2009 in Uganda attracted participants from various stakeholders including government officials, development partners, Private sector and local Non-governmental organisation. During the forum the participants reflected upon sucess achieved in implemtation of innitiatives to identify how these innitiatives can be brought up to scale. The report provides the details of the National Learning forum.

This Note argues the need for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) learning at national level, which builds on innovations from the local levels and from actors like local government, NGOs and private sector. Vertical knowledge exchange is proposed through National Learning Forums linked to the Joint Sector Review (JSR) and Joint Technical Review (JTR)
